Responsibilities

Deliver expert hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, and barbering services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations
Utilize salon software such as insight for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients’ desires and offering professional recommendations
Upsell retail products like hair care items and tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair techniques, color theory, and client communication
Manage retail math and store management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry
Proficiency in salon software platforms such as MINDBODY or similar systems
Skilled in hair coloring, styling, threading, and the use of straight razors
Knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety standards
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math calculations
Familiarity with hair care products, hair extensions, and advanced techniques like color theory
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $500.00 - $1,500.00 per week
