Assistant Hair Stylist/ Front Desk Coordinator

We are seeking a polished, energetic, detail-oriented Assistant Hairstylist / Salon Coordinator to join our upscale salon environment. This position is ideal for someone passionate about the beauty industry, luxury customer service, personal growth, and becoming part of a sophisticated, high-performance team.

This is not just a “helper” position. We are looking for someone who understands hospitality, presentation, professionalism, and creating an exceptional client experience from the moment a client walks through the door.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet and welcome clients upon arrival
Check clients in and out using salon booking/POS software
Offer beverages and maintain elevated hospitality standards
Shampoo and condition clients professionally
Assist stylists during services when needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the salon
Sanitize stations, tools, shampoo bowls, and common areas
Sweep and reset styling stations after each client
Launder towels and maintain backbar organization
Help maintain retail displays and product inventory
Answer phones professionally and assist with appointment scheduling
Ensure clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for throughout their visit
Support the overall luxury atmosphere and team culture of the salon

Qualifications

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent communication and people skills
Professional appearance and grooming
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passion for the beauty and grooming industry
Team-oriented mindset
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Previous salon experience preferred but not required
Cosmetology license or currently enrolled in cosmetology school is a plus
