Area Manager

We are hiring an Area Manager to oversee our locally owned Great Clips salons. This leadership role is responsible for driving performance, developing salon managers, supporting team culture, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations. What you bring to the team To succeed as an Area Manager in a Great Clips salon organization, you’ll need: Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province) The desire and ability to manage a salon’s daily operations while motivating and supporting other Salon Managers Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges Who we are As the world's largest salon brand, with over 4,400 locally owned and operated salons across the U.S. and Canada, Great Clips combines strong brand recognition, marketing, and support with a close-knit, team-oriented culture.
