Responsibilities

Perform advanced hair styling, including precision cuts, blowouts, and intricate styling techniques tailored to each client’s preferences.
Deliver expert barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic haircutting with attention to detail.
Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care treatments to enhance client beauty routines.
Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking.
Provide professional consultations on color theory, hair coloring techniques, and product recommendations to achieve desired looks.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to all health regulations and ensuring tools and workspaces are thoroughly sanitized after each service.
Engage in retail sales through upselling complementary products such as hair care products, makeup items, and retail accessories while delivering excellent customer service.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management operations.
Mentor junior staff members by sharing expertise in hair threading, makeup application, retail math calculations, and customer communication skills to foster team growth.

Experience

Proven experience as a cosmetologist or barber with advanced skills in hair styling, coloring, and grooming services.
Demonstrated expertise in using salon software systems like MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and sales management.
Strong knowledge of color theory principles and current beauty trends to provide innovative solutions.
Skilled in performing specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, nail care, and makeup application.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients while delivering personalized service.
Experience in store management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are highly valued.
